3 Easy Ways to Know YOUR Funnel Building Tools

3 Easy Ways to Know YOUR Funnel Building Tools

My son’s favorite store is Home Depot. He asks me all the time if we can go to “the tool store”, and on rare occasions I say yes, he will stand in the power tool aisle, drooling over all the various options for hours if I let him.  I would mind, but I totally get it.

When you first start out as an entrepreneur, and facebook tags your account as someone interested in funnels, your newsfeed starts to flood with advertisements.

Use Clickfunnels! Keap! Kajabi! Thinkific! Our CRM is the best! No, our landing pages work better! Every company starts shouting for your attention, wanting you to build your funnel on their platform.  But before you put your name in their CRMs and start putting your credit card number into the form on their landing pages, I’ve pulled together three things you need to consider when choosing your funnel building tools.

The first (and most fun!) thing you need to consider are the features.

What do you want your CRM and Landing Page software to do? Do you want to be able to automate everything so that you can get your time back? Do you want your CRM and Landing Page to be the same software, or are you okay with linking two different things up? Do you need customer support that can hold your hand, or can you figure most things out on your own?

Each company will shout the benefits of their software from the rooftops, but you need to make sure the one (or ones) that you pick come with the features that fit your business style

Once you escape the never-ending feature void, you need to get a little more practical.

The second thing you need to consider is the learning curve of the tool.

Are you super techy like me? Then you can get a complicated tool and figure it out on your own! What if you’re good with tech, but you just don’t have the time to invest in learning it. Will you get a simpler tool, or hire someone like me to deal with a more complicated tool?

Only you know what is right for you and your business, so take some time to consider what is appropriate both for your business now, and what will give you room to grow as your business expands

The final thing you have to consider, that none of us ever want to, is price.

Please take notice that this is the LAST thing on the list.

Cheaping out on your funnel software can cost you tons of time if you get something with the wrong features, two that don’t work together, or something that doesn’t make sense for your business at this stage.

I’m not saying you need to go out and buy the top of the line software – when working with clients, I often suggest that newer business can use simpler platforms at first. Just make sure that what you do choose is truly the best fit for your business AND your budget.

If all that sounds like a complete headache, know that you can always come talk to me here

As someone who works with many coaches, and builds funnels for a living, I can help you choose which software is going to work best for your unique situation.  Because even though it can be fun to stare at all the power tools and compare the features, sometimes it’s nice to have the Home Depot Pro tell us what’s going to get the job done right.
