When creating landing pages, you need to keep your audience in mind. And when you think about them, you want to make sure that you grab their attention before they scroll down. All of the main elements of landing pages should be visible at the top half of the page and it should be enticing enough where your audience will want to read further or click the CTA button.
This is what you call an above-the-fold concept. The headline, subheading, essential text and CTA button should be visible before your audience begins to scroll down. In another article that I wrote, I talked about how an average person’s attention span is eight seconds, so when you create a landing page, you have to remember that.
Take that small window of opportunity to catch your audience’s attention. Use the above-the-fold concept to your advantage and see your readers turn into clients. If this is something you want to learn, you can read more about it here.
What do you think? Are the main elements of your landing page above the fold? Or are they located after your readers scroll down?
